Metrics

Metrics answers one comparison question at a time. Choose the quantity that matters, then see the visible designs ranked by it.
Shows
Visible designs ranked by one selected measure, at a frequency or over a band when applicable.
Healthy when
The measure and band match your goal, and you compare designs at appropriate drive and environment settings.
If it is not
Choose another measure or band, then inspect the curves behind the ranking.

The tile#

Choose a measure in the tile’s menu. Point measures add a frequency field; band measures add start and end frequencies. Higher wins or Lower wins tells you the ranking direction. Rows show the result and difference from the best value; click a row to select its design.

Only visible enclosures participate. Missing or unavailable quantities are left unranked. F3 and F10 come from the simulation summary, so custom reference settings in the SPL tile do not alter these rows.

A ranking answers only its chosen question#

A larger box may rank better for extension while costing cabinet space and cone travel. Change the measure to Xmax use or maximum output in your band before deciding. Ordinary SPL also depends on each design’s power and EQ, so check those before treating a higher row as a more efficient design.

What to try#

TryWhat it changes
Choose the useful bandUse a band measure to compare only the frequencies the speaker will play.
Check the trade-offCompare extension, maximum output and Xmax use; winning one row does not mean winning all three.
