TILEEVERY ENCLOSURET/S Parameters
This tile puts the selected driver’s source values and derived interpretation beside the graphs. Use it to check the input data or explore how a parameter change affects the design.
- Shows
- The selected driver’s electrical, mechanical and physical parameters, plus derived interpretation and sealed targets.
- Healthy when
- The driver, units and wiring are correct, and any temporary adjustments are intentional.
- If it is not
- Check the source data. Use Reset all to remove temporary tweaks or Edit params to create corrected driver data.
The tile#
| Section | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Electrical | Resistance, inductance, motor strength and power rating, with wiring-related values where applicable. |
| Mechanical | Resonance, moving mass, compliance, losses and Q values. |
| Physical | Equivalent compliance volume, radiating area and linear travel. |
| Interpretation | Derived efficiency, sensitivity and broad enclosure guidance. |
| Sealed targets | Ideal sealed alignments calculated from Fs, Qts and Vas. An unavailable target is not a suggested zero-litre box. |
Explore a variation#
Enable T/S adjust sliders to make temporary, per-enclosure graph adjustments. Each slider also accepts a typed value. Related quantities are recalculated by the adjustment model, so changing a fundamental parameter can change derived ones too.
- 1
Choose a baseline
Confirm the selected driver and turn off existing adjustments before comparing with source data. - 2
Change one thing
Vary a parameter and observe the response and limit tiles. Treat this as sensitivity analysis, not a measurement of how a real driver will change. - 3
Restore the original
Reset that parameter, use Reset all, or switch the sliders off. The driver-library record has not been rewritten by the sliders.
Correct the source data#
Edit params opens the driver editor. Saving a new driver or overwriting an editable custom driver changes saved driver data, unlike the temporary graph adjustments. Check units and internal consistency before saving.
What to try#
| Try | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Check the inputs | Compare Fs, Qts, Vas, Sd and Xmax with the manufacturer’s data, including units. |
| Explore a variation | Enable T/S adjust sliders to see how a parameter change affects this enclosure’s graphs. |
| Return to the baseline | Use Reset all or switch off the adjustments before judging the original driver. |
