TILEEVERY ENCLOSURE

Schematic

The schematic is a map of the acoustic connections. Use it to verify what each face of the cone drives and where sound leaves the enclosure.
Shows
How drivers, chambers, ports and horn paths connect acoustically.
Healthy when
The connections, volumes and outlets match the design you intend to simulate.
If it is not
Select the intended enclosure and check its type and editable values before tuning the response.

In this bandpass example, one diaphragm face sees a sealed chamber while the other drives a chamber with a port to the room. The room hears that port. The diagram shows acoustic roles and connections, not a proposed cabinet’s panel positions.

Read and edit in place#

  1. 1

    Select the enclosure

Choose an enclosure in the legend below the drawing. The tile shows one schematic at a time; the active drawing accepts edits when you have editing permission.
  2. 2

    Inspect a part

Select a driver, chamber or path to follow its connection. In a multiple-entry horn, selecting a driver also selects that driver for editing.
  3. 3

    Change a value

Click an editable dimension or value and enter the new one. The edit updates the same enclosure or input setting used by the side panel and response graphs.
  4. 4

    Check the environment

The drawing’s environment control exposes Radiation space and Listening distance. These are workspace settings, so they affect the other designs too.

What to try#

TryWhat it changes
Trace the sound pathFollow each diaphragm face to a chamber, horn or radiating outlet.
Edit a value in placeClick an editable value on the active drawing; it updates the same design as the enclosure panel.
Inspect a horn pathUse Horn Editor for segment detail and Fold for cabinet geometry.
