Information we collect

Guest mode stores simulator data in your browser local storage. We do not receive that guest workspace unless you sign in and import it, export it, or create a share link.

If you create an account, we store the account information needed to sign you in, such as your email address, display name, session records, authentication provider, and profile image when provided by Google.

We store cloud workspaces, enclosure data, embedded driver and passive radiator snapshots, user component library entries, share links, and account preferences needed to provide the simulator.

Google sign-in data

If you sign in with Google, we use Google OAuth to request the basic profile information required for account login: your name, email address, and profile image. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, calendars, contacts, or other Google product data.

We use Google sign-in data only to authenticate your account, display your account identity, and support account management. We do not sell Google user data and we do not use it for advertising.

How we use information

We use your information to provide sign-in, email sign-in codes, cloud autosave, workspace management, imports, exports, sharing, account support, abuse prevention, security, and product reliability. If you have an account, we also use your email address to send product updates, which you can turn off.

We may use aggregate or diagnostic information to understand errors and improve the simulator, but we do not use your private workspace contents to advertise to you.

Sharing and public links

Anyone with a share link can open it, and published designs are also listed publicly. A share link made as a guest is published straight away and listed in the public Gallery, and it cannot be withdrawn later because there is no account to manage it from. Signed in, a share link starts as a private draft. Once you publish it, it appears in the Gallery with your account's name and picture, and on your public profile, until you hide it or delete it under Shared links.

A share is stored as a self-contained snapshot, so the design stays the same even if a driver or passive radiator library item changes later. It includes the enclosures you pick with their drivers, including drivers you created and their notes, and every measured trace and graph note in the workspace.

Do not share a workspace that includes anything you do not want other people to see.

Connected assistants

If you connect an assistant such as ChatGPT, you sign in to 00 Audio Simulator and approve the permissions shown on the consent screen. We store that authorization and the tokens needed for the connection. Depending on the permissions you approve, the assistant can read your workspaces, save design changes, and run simulations on your behalf.

Workspace contents, driver data, and simulation results requested through the connection are sent to your chosen assistant service. Graph tiles also receive the numerical curve data needed to display those results. The assistant provider handles this information under its own privacy policy. Connecting an assistant does not itself create a public share link.

You can disconnect an assistant in Account settings under MCP connections. This stops future access through that authorization; it does not remove information already present in the assistant service or your conversations there.

Email

We send sign-in codes, account notices, support replies, and important service messages to the address on your account. These always arrive, because your account needs them.

If you have an account, we may also email you product updates: news about new features and occasional notes from the founder. We say so when you sign up. Every update includes an unsubscribe link, and you can turn updates off at any time in Account settings. Turning them off does not affect sign-in codes or account notices.

We send email through Resend. For each update we record who it went to and whether it was delivered, bounced, or marked as spam, and we stop sending updates to addresses that bounce or complain. You can contact us at hello@00aud.io.

Retention and deletion

Simulation runs created through connected assistants are available for 24 hours, with up to 20 retained per workspace. Expired runs are removed when another run is saved for that workspace; permanently deleting the workspace removes its stored runs. Graphs already delivered to an assistant may remain in that service according to its retention settings.

You can delete cloud workspaces and account data from the product where those controls are available. Deleted account data may be retained briefly for operational recovery, security, legal, or abuse-prevention needs before final deletion.
