Overview

This release adds powerful new features for advanced enclosure design, including maximum SPL analysis, flexible port configurations, and improved graph management.

New Features

Max SPL Graph

• Mechanical and Thermal Limits: Visualize the maximum achievable SPL at each frequency, showing both mechanical (excursion-limited) and thermal (power-limited) constraints
• Three Curves:
  • Max SPL (the limiting factor - minimum of mechanical and thermal)
  • Mechanical limit (SPL when excursion reaches Xmax)
  • Thermal limit (SPL at rated power Pe)

Multiple Ports and Port Dimensions

• Multiple Ports: Configure 1-10 ports per enclosure for complex designs
• Port Shapes:
  • Circular ports: Traditional round ports with diameter control
  • Slot ports: Rectangular/slot ports with independent width and height
• Accurate Calculations: Proper handling of port area, end corrections, and acoustic mass for all port configurations

Resizable Graphs

• Expand/Contract Controls: Toggle individual graphs between 1 and 2 columns
• Smart Auto-Sizing:
  • Single graph automatically expands to full width (2 columns)
  • Multiple graphs start at 1 column each
  • Independent control per graph when multiple are displayed
• Better Comparison: Optimize your workspace for comparing different metrics

Technical Improvements

• Enhanced port calculation logic for rectangular ports using hydraulic diameter
• Improved end correction calculations for multi-port systems
• More accurate max SPL calculations considering both mechanical and thermal limits

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Max SPL graph axes and legend formatting to match SPL graph style
• Improved port parameter calculations for non-circular ports
